Horses are highly social animals with a strong herding instinct. They enjoy teaching people as much as people enjoy learning with them. Because horses have distinct personalities, much like people do, they provide instant and honest feedback. This offers insights into a deeper level of self-awareness and growth. By examining their own behavior and how the horses react to them, humans can better understand how they might grow and be more effective in their own human relationships. The way a horse reacts to an individual’s interaction provides a visual metaphor and/or a personal experience of how people react internally to various life situations.
All work with the horses is done from the ground. The Equine Assisted/Experiential Learning experience is highly intuitive, profoundly experiential and it creates a deep and lasting impact on both individuals and teams. Learning from horseplay is both a delightful and rewarding way to develop critical life skills.
