Renewal Ranch AZ is proud to host the O.K. Corral Series and President, Greg Kersten, for the Milepost Blue Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) and Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) certification November 13-15, 2008.
This seminar is entitled, “OK, Let’s Get Down to Business!” The seminar invites participants to learn timeless activities that are a hit with corporations year after year. The standard presentation includes teambuilding and leadership activities with special “tools of the trade,” and promotional ideas never taught at any EAP/EAL event before. The event also features information on how to start your own equine-assisted business.
The O.K. Corral Series is designed to be the ultimate education in EAP and EAL. Greg Kersten coined the term “Equine Assisted Psychotherapy” to describe the activities he was using with at-risk youth and criminal offenders as early as the 1980s. The field of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy has now become one of the most effective methods of helping hard-to-reach clients and successful short-term therapy worldwide. In recent years, Greg Kersten has created applications beyond clinical settings, and has developed new and innovative approaches for using horses in individual, family and corporate wellness.
The cost for the three-day seminar, OK Corral Series Certification, seminar materials and lunches is $500.
While all seminar participants are certified, there is an additional fee of $10.00 per person for a CEU certificate for the renewal of professional licenses. The O.K. Corral Series is an approved provider of continuing education units for the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Addictions Counselors, and for many state licensing boards. Please call 866-391-6565 to verify acceptance of CEUs for your specific state licensing organization.
