Tim Hodges
Tim, the alpha male on the ranch, volunteers his time to bring the Renewal Ranch vision to life. He is affectionately known as the Barn Daddy because he looks after the medical issues of the horses.

Prior to his retirement, Tim had 30 years experience in HR specialty areas, including instructional design and delivery, program development and project management. He developed and implemented award winning safety and environmental programs for the energy and manufacturing industry. He also coached management in the use of process mapping tools to improve performance and gain workforce buy-in to corporate change.

Tim has a BA in Health Sciences, with a minor in Psychology. He is trained in the EAGALA method of Equine Assisted Learning and serves as the Equine Professional for the workshops at the ranch.

VOLUNTEERS

Lynn Edwards
Lynn volunteers her time and talents as the Barn Manager of the ranch. She makes sure all barn and horse-related matters are taken care of in a timely and efficient manner. Although health issues prevent as much involvement as she would like, her organization skills and attention to detail are a large reason the care of the horses and the facility operation run smoothly and efficiently.

Jean Malkus
Jean’s love for horses shines through in everything she does. She’s never met a horse she didn’t think was beautiful! Jean uses the energy created for her by the horses to help out wherever she’s needed at the ranch. Equally as comfortable dealing with barn and office matters, Jean is a versatile and extremely helpful member of the ranch team.

NOTE: You are likely to meet both Jean and Lynn when you come to the ranch because they double in greeting people, handling sign-in and assist the horses at our workshops.

Bill Katzenberger
bio_for_bill
Bill donates his skills in bodywork and paint to the ranch on an as-needed basis. He painted the sign that hangs proudly at the entrance to the ranch and recently completed the paint job on the golf cart we will use, not only at the ranch but also for Renewal Ranch Racing. Oh, by the way, he also fixes the paint, etc. on the ranch vehicles if we forget and park them close enough to the arena for the horses to “chomp” – they like the sound of teeth on metal!!!

CONSIDER ...

“Nothing splended has ever been achieved except by those who dared believe that something inside them was superior to circumstances.”

OUR VISION:

“We help individuals and organizations attain their full potential through the metaphors created by interaction with horses.”
